Sign in

What it is: Sign in using your existing Google or Discord account — no need to create a separate account for iGo.
What you get / when to use it: Sign in to unlock the two features below: Cloud Sync and Statistics. Once signed in, this section shows your avatar, name, and email, along with a "Sign out" button.
Note: Not signing in still gives you full, normal use of iGo — you just won't have the sync/statistics features.

What it is: Keeps your settings (typing style, options on every page, and even your shorthand table) IDENTICAL across every Mac signed into the same account.
What you get / when to use it: Turn on "Cloud sync" for automatic syncing: change a setting on this Mac, and other Macs will receive it after reopening iGo (or within a few minutes if already open). Press "Sync now" to sync immediately, without waiting.
Default: ON (only takes effect once you're signed in).
Note: The "Settings" and "Shorthand" status lines show the most recent sync time for each part. If two Macs are edited close together and end up out of sync, iGo will ask whether you want to "Keep cloud" (use the online version, discarding the change you just made on this Mac) or "Keep this Mac" (push this Mac's version up, overwriting the online one).

What it is: Counts and stores some numbers about how you use iGo — for example, how many times Autocorrect or Shorthand fired — so you can look back over time.
What you get / when to use it: Turn this on to start counting and viewing "today" and "total" figures for each item below. Press "Refresh figures" to reload the latest numbers.
Default: ON (only takes effect once you're signed in).

What it is: Additionally counts the total NUMBER of words you've typed — it only counts, and NEVER stores WHAT words you typed.
What you get / when to use it: Only turn this on if you genuinely want to see this figure — it defaults to OFF (even though it's still just a number, never actual content).
Default: OFF.
