For macOS

Vietnamese typing that just works.

A Telex/VNI input method for macOS — it works even in VS Code and the terminal, where other input methods break.

Two typing styles, one result — even in the terminal, where other input methods often break.

Why iGo?

Existing input methods often garble text in VS Code or the command line — dropped keystrokes, doubled letters, misplaced tones. iGo was built specifically to type correctly in exactly those places.

Install

  1. 1 Download iGo.dmg, open it, and drag iGo into your Applications folder.
  2. 2 Open iGo. macOS will warn about an app from an "unidentified developer" — go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.
  3. 3 Grant iGo permissions: enable both Accessibility and Input Monitoring under Privacy & Security.
  4. 4 Done! A VN icon appears in the menu bar. Switch Telex/VNI from the menu, and toggle typing with ⌃⇧Space.
